Elisenda de Haro Bosch

In jewelry I have found a way of expression in which I feel comfortable to show myself in an authentic, natural and honest way… I have found my particular language so that my work is recognizable as my own, using traditional materials such as gold, silver and natural stones… Although others recognize me by the colorations I use in some of my pieces, my work is not so much focused on the research of new materials or sophisticated techniques if not in the deepening of concepts and simple ideas but that I make my own when I get to transfer my essence, giving them a certain poetic character and reaching an agreement with the ideal of aesthetics or beauty to finally materialize with my hands each jewel…. ”

I learned the first steps of jewelry in the goldsmith workshop of my parents located in the green heart of Barcelona, playing and having fun, until we created the brand of silver and fire enamel HARO BOSCH with my brother Alex in 1994.

In 2011 I started a solo path to be able to give an outlet to a more intimate and personal world…I have participated in numerous professional and international jewelry fairs such as Barnajoya, Iberjoya, Iberjoya in the Vanguard sector, Portojoya, Espaijoia and lately I am participating in the editions of BCN joya in the BCN CONCEPT sector where I present my collections of the two seasons of the year. I have also made some occasional exhibitions.

In some Catalan jewelry schools they study my pieces for the personal character that I give them…I have done a course of gem-setting and one of high jewelry with the master Antoni Farre, but the weight of my craft I have acquired with each challenge and collection that I propose.

In 2018 the “Gremi de Joiers i Rellotgers de Catalunya” awarded me the prize of best artisan of the year of Catalonia that they give annually at the Gala of San Eloy.
